Beacon Veterinary Specialists is home to three veterinary practices formerly known as Ohlone Veterinary Emergency, Veterinary Orthopedic and Surgery Service, and Veterinary Internal Medicine Service. In 2016, we came together as one practice to better reflect the collaborative nature of how we care for our patients. From our beginnings, we have grown into a leading veterinary specialty and emergency practice, known for our state-of-the-art medical technologies and our unwavering dedication to patient care.
Located in the heart of Fremont, CA, Beacon Veterinary Specialists serves as a beacon of hope and healing for pet owners, offering a comprehensive range of specialty services! When your primary care veterinarian’s clinic is closed, or your pet needs advanced care by a board-certified specialist, count on Beacon. Dr. Randall
Fitch
DVM, Diplomate ACVS
Dr. Randall Fitch received his DVM degree from University of Wisconsin in 1990. After graduation, Dr. Fitch completed a rotating small animal medicine and surgery internship at Washington State University, followed by a three year small animal surgery residency at Auburn University.
Dr. Bonnie Murphy
DVM, Diplomate ACVIM
Dr. Bonnie Murphy achieved her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at UC Davis in 1989, followed by an internship in Hermosa Beach and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Louisiana State University. She achieved board certification in 1995.
Dr. Lindsay Cuddy
DVM, Diplomate ACVECC
Dr. Lindsay Cuddy earned her DVM from Colorado State University and completed advanced training through a rotating internship at the University of Georgia and a residency in Emergency and Critical Care at UC Davis. She became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care in 2024.
